The Oldest City in the US

How many of us know, what city is considered to be the oldest city in the US?

This small writing will help you to get an answer to that question.

A small city in Florida, located about 38 miles southeast from the city of Jacksonville, St. Augustine was established in 1513.

A Spanish settler and traveler,  Juan Ponce de Leon, is considered to be the founder of St. Augustine.

He arrived to American continent in search for the Fountain of Youth, and found himself at modern time's Florida state.

Thus, St. Augustine is supposedly the oldest continuously settled city in the country.

It is located in Saint Johns county.

Today, there are about 13,000 people living in the oldest city in the US.
