How old is Andrew Jackson?

Andrew Jackson was the 7th President of the United States of America and one of the early ideologists of the democratic values in the country. Born in 1767, in the pre-revolution times, he was raised by his single mum alongside his two elder brothers as his father died shorty after Andrew's birth. He received his education from a local clergyman and in the early 1780 he briefly took part in the American Revolutionary War as a young teenager. Later in the decade he started his career as a lawyer and got married. In the 1790s he joined the Democrat-Republican Party and was elected to the Tennessee Constitutional Convention, then continued as a judge of the state constitutional court. In the early 19th century he began the military part of hi career and took part in 1812 war between the US and the UK, as well as was one of the US army leaders during the Creek War and some subsequent ones. Military success made Jackson popular among the people, and in 1824 he ran for the President but couldn't succeed. Instead, he managed to win in 1828 becoming the 7th President of the country. One of his first serious decisions was to relocate the local populations from their native lands (the Trial of Tears) which caused deaths of many Native Americans. He launched a few financial and economic reforms, with only some of them being effective and good for the country's economy. At the same time, Jackson also acted as the President who did his best to protect democratic values and constitutional rights of the people. His second term finished in 1839, and thereafter he remained as a key political figure. Andrew Jackson passed away in 1845, at the age of 78.
