Born in 1994 in Athens, he came to this world to the family of immigrants from Nigeria and grew up alongside his parents and five siblings. His family was very poor and he used to work since the very early ages. Basketball was his only passion during his childhood and he used to play a lot with his friends and his classmates. He started his professional career in 2011 by joining a senior team of the 2nd Division Basketball League of Greece. He was noticed immediately and a year later, when he was 18, he signed up with a prime Spanish club Zaragoza. One more year later he was drafted in NBA by Milwaukee Bucks and started playing a power forward.
