Michelle Phan is an American beauty expert and an Internet personality, a businesswoman and an artist. She was born in 1987 in Massachusetts, and grew up in Tampa, near her two elder siblings. Her family is of Vietnamese origin. She studied design in college, and since 2005 she has been writing various beauty, make-up, and fashion related blogs. She opened her YouTube account in 2006 and since then, Michelle managed to attract over 9 million subscribers (as of the early 2024).
