Nancy Kerrigan is a known American figure skater whose career was peaking in the 1990s when she managed to win a few Olympic medals. She was born in 1969 in a small town in Massachusetts and was the only daughter in the family (she has two brothers). All three children in the family were interested in skating, but the boys used to play ice-hockey, and Nancy started her training as a figure skater when she was 6 years old. In the late 1980s she managed to win national Junior Figure Skating Championship, and in 1991 she became a sensation at World Figure Skating Championship where Nancy won the bronze medal. She developed her success during the Winter Olympic Games in 1992 where she got a bronze medal as well. In 1994 Nancy suffered from an attack by a policeman but managed to pull herself together and perform great at 1994 Winter Olympics where she got a silver medal. She continued skating as a professional for a few more years, but then was rather appearing at various ice skating shows and celebrations. In the 2000s she took part in some TV shows and movies, as an actress and sports celebrity. In 2017 she was a participant of a famous TV show Dancing With The Stars, Season 24, where she danced with a Russian professional dancer A.Chigvintsev. Nancy is married to her former agent and has 3 children.
