Alex G is a singer and composer known for a few albums that he has recorded and produced. He was born Alexander Ginnascoli in 1993 in Pennsylvania and was raised by his parents in Havertown alongside his siblings. He began to learn to play the guitar when he was a young teenager, and a little later he started to compose his first songs. He turned out to be quite a prolific composer, so during his high school times he recorded two amateur albums with the help of his friends. Just at about that time he began to play in some local pubs and cafes, and in the early 2010s he released his first eponymous professional EP. In 2014 he signed up with a professional studio and released his labeled solo album titled DSU. So far, he has released 9 albums including his amateur ones. One of his more known and acclaimed albums came out in 2017 and it was titled Rocket. In the early 2020s he decided to focus rather on producing projects and produced an album by Jane Schoenburn. In 2022 his 9th album came out. In 2024 Alex G also released his second soundtrack album titled I Saw The TV Glow.
