Bob Saget was an actor and a comedian, a TV show host and a director, who rose to fame with one of the lead roles in the famous TV series, Full House. He was born in 1956 in Pennsylvania but spent most of his childhood years in California, alongside his parents. He did not plan to become a comedian and wanted to be a doctor, but his school teacher of English pointed on his great abilities in acting, so Saget went to a filming school. In the early 1980s, he started taking part in various TV shows combining that with doing some stand-up comedy shows. In 1987 Saget was invited to join the cast of Full House which ran for 8 successful seasons. In the 1990s, Bob Saget was the host of a popular TV show titled America's Funniest Home Videos. He was also famous as the one who gave voice to future Ted Mosby in the iconic TV series How I Met Your Mother.
