Nathan Fillion is a talented American actor of Canadian origins who got famous worldwide after appearing in such cult TV series as Castle, Firefly, The Rookie, and some others. He was born in 1971 in Canada and grew up in Edmonton, in the family of two English teachers, alongside his elder brother. After attending the University of Alberta he began to join some stage performances in the theaters of Edmonton, and his professional debut as a TV actor took place in 1994 when he appeared in a TV series One Life to Live. He moved to the US to continue his career there, and in the late 1990s he participated in filming a cult movie Saving Private Ryan (with Tom Hanks) and a drama TV series Two Guys And a Girl. During the first decade of the current century he appeared in such movies as Serenity, White Noise 2, Trucker, Wonder Woman, and also in such TV projects as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Justice League Unlimited, Drive, Robot Chicken, Desperate Housewives, and finally Castle where Fillion portrayed the main character. The next decade was marked by his great work as a cinema actor in Justice League: Doom, Much Ado About Nothing, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, and also as a voice actor in Monsters University, Cars 3, Henchmen, The Death of the Superman, and many others. His later works on TV include some recurring roles in such popular series as Modern Family, Gravity Falls, Big Mouth, A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Recruit, The Rookie, and others. In addition to his active work in screen, Nathan Fillion gave voice to some characters in the video games like Halo series, Destiny series, and such.
