How old is Debbie Mcgee?

Debbie McGee is a professional ballet dancer, actress, and television and radio presenter who became widely known as the assistant and creative partner of British magician Paul Daniels. Born in 1958 in Kingston, London, she received an excellent education and showed a strong interest in ballet from a very early age. In 1974, she earned a prestigious scholarship to train at the Royal Ballet School, and later continued her studies in Tehran. However, following the outbreak of the Iranian Revolution, she was forced to leave the country and return to the UK.

Back home, Debbie joined a popular entertainment show in Yarmouth, where she met Paul Daniels, who was also part of the production. In 1980, she began appearing in his show It’s Magic, which quickly gained national attention and was soon broadcast by the BBC. The two worked closely on its creative development, shaping memorable routines and theatrical illusions. Debbie and Paul married in 1988, by which time It’s Magic was being shown in over 90 countries.

Alongside her work with Paul, she appeared in numerous television programs, including The X Factor, Master Chef, Wife Swap, and The Farm, becoming an established media personality. After Paul’s passing in 2016, Debbie Mcgee remained active in charity work. She enjoys playing golf and breeding dogs.
