How old is Howard Stern?

Howard Stern is a prominent radio and television personality, artist, writer, and producer from the United States. Born in 1954 in New York City to a Jewish family, he developed a great passion for broadcasting while still a young man. After graduating from school, Stern went to Boston University, where he studied communications and had his first practical experience at local radio stations.

In the early part of his career, he worked on a number of morning radio shows on stations such as WWWW, WCCC, WWDC and WRNW.  His big break came in 1986, when he began to host The Howard Stern Show. The show rapidly evolved into one of the most influential and listened-to talk shows in the country, earning Stern many awards, including eight Billboard Air Personality of the Year titles, and making him the highest paid radio host of his time.

In the 2010s, Stern decided to explore other fields like writing, photography, and television, serving as a judge on America’s Got Talent. He set one more record there becoming the highest paid TV personality in 2013, along with Simon Cowell. He is a dedicated animal rights activist, a longtime practitioner of transcendental meditation, and a passionate sports fan. Howard Stern has been married twice and is now married to model Beth Ostrosky Stern.
