Ethan Hawke is a widely respected American actor, director, author, and stage performer whose career spans nearly four decades. Born in 1970 in Austin, Texas, he was raised primarily by his mother and initially dreamed of becoming a writer. His passion gradually shifted toward acting, and he later moved to Pittsburgh to study performance professionally. Hawke made his screen debut in 1985 with Explorers, a role that immediately revealed his natural talent. Just a few years later, he earned international attention with his moving portrayal in Dead Poets Society (1989), securing his place among the most promising young actors of the era.
