How old is Ian Somerhalder?

Known for his roles in Lost and Vampire Dairies TV series, Ian Somerhalder is an American actor. He was born in 1987 in Louisiana and during his early teenage years he was engaged in amateur modeling, but after finishing high school Ian decided to try himself in acting. He took part in his first TV projects in the late 1990s, and those were TV series The Big Easy, Now and Again, etc. In 2000 Somerhalder was offered one of the main roles in Young Americans movie, and within the next few years later appeared in episodes of such popular TV series as Law & Order, CSI: Miami, Smallville, etc. His first cinema roles included the ones in Life as a House, The Rules of Attraction, In Enemy's Hands, Pulse, and The Sensation of Sight. He was one of Lost TV series cast from 2004 till 2007, and right after that, he joined The Vampires Dairie" series, which became the greatest success of Ian Somerhalder so far. For a few years, Ian dated Nina Dobrev, his partner for The Vampire Dairies filming. In 2014 he got married to Nikky Reed, an American actress, and model, who became a mother of his daughter. The Somerhalders are the owners of their foundation which invests money into environmental and animal rights related problem-solving.
