An American actress of Italian heritage, Laura Marano was born in 1995 in California to a family deeply involved in the performing arts. Laura and her sister, Vanessa Marano got an early chance to try acting because their parents ran a small children's theater. At age four, Laura started working in commercials and small roles on television. Some of her early credits are Without a Trace, Joan of Arcadia, Medical Investigation, Ghost Whisperer, Dexter, Huff, Back to You, Gary Unmarried, Heroes, Little Monk, and Children’s Hospital.
