Penn Badgley is an American actor and singer widely recognized for his role in the hit TV series Gossip Girl. Born in 1986 in Baltimore, he grew up as an only child and developed an early interest in performing, especially in community theater. After his parents divorced, he moved to California as a teenager and began attending auditions, first working as a voiceover artist before landing small television roles.
