Carly Rae Jepsen is a talented pop singer from Canada who rose to fame as one of the participants and finalists of Canadian Idol. She was born in 1985 in British Columbia, to the parents of British and Danish origins, and she grew up alongside her mum, dad, and two siblings. Carly began singing in the very early age and when he was a school student, she started taking part in her school musical theater performances. After finishing school she took a one-year course in the Canadian College of Performing Art which helped her to strengthen her motivation to become a singer. In 2007 Jepsen auditioned and was accepted to take part in the 5th season of Canadian Idol finishing the 3rd. This helped her to attract the attention of Justin Bieber's producers who collaborated with Carly on recording her debut album in 2008 which was rather focused on folk music. In the early 2010s she recorded a single titled "Call Me Maybe" which sold almost 20 million copies and became a sensation not only in her homelands. Her second studio album titled Kiss followed, and one of its hits "Good Time" rose to the top lines in the charts of many countries. After releasing her third studio album, she dedicated the middle of the decade to taking part in various musicals and stage performances. Between 2019 and 2022 Carly Rae Jepsen released three more studio albums with the hits like "Party For One", "Too Much", "Let's Be Friends", "Beach House", "Western Wind", etc.
