How old is Charles Barkley?

Charles Barkley is a basketball superstar and one of the best heavy forwards in the whole history of NBA and the king of rebounds. Born Charles Wade Barkley in 1963 in Alabama, he started progressing as a basketball player in his college years and in Auburn University where he studied business management. Besides being tall Barkley was also quite heavy, which, some coaches saw as a bit problem and tended to place him at the center position. Anyways, his NBA debut took place in 1984 when he joined Philadelphia 76rs where he spent 8 great seasons, scoring up to 41 points per game. In 1992 he continued in Phoenix Suns and then went on in Houston Rockets, spending 4 seasons in each team. Despite numerous controversies and repeated weird behavior, Barkley was extremely loved by fans. He has a long list of awards and achievements including the MVP title which he received in 1993, 11 All-Star Game participation, one All-Star Game MVP title, 5 All-NBA First Team Titles, and many others. After he had retired from basketball in 2000, Charles Barkley started leading a very active social life like taking part in various TV shows, working as a basketball analyst, supporting American presidential candidates like Barack Obama, writing books, and even acting in the movie Space Jam where he appeared opposite Micheal Jordan. Barkley is married and has a daughter.
