Connor McDavid is a Canadian ice hockey player and the longtime captain and center of the Edmonton Oilers, widely regarded as one of the NHL’s most talented and valuable athletes. Born in 1997 in Ontario, he grew up in Richmond Hill, where both of his parents were passionate hockey fans. Connor began training at a young age alongside his older brother Cameron, initially coached by his father, Brian.

He joined a local youth team at six and quickly progressed to playing with older competitors, contributing to his teams’ successes.
