Connor McDavid is a successful ice hockey player from Canada, the longtime captain and center of the Edmonton Oilers. He is regarded as one of the NHL’s most talented and valuable athletes. He was born in 1997 in Ontario and grew up in Richmond Hill, which is home of two huge hockey fans, his parents. Connor started training at a young age, coached by his older brother Cameron and father Brian.

He joined a local youth team at the age of six and quickly moved on to play with older competitors, helping his teams to win. In 2011, he began to play for the Toronto Marlboros in the GTHL and won several awards the next year, including Best Player of the Year.
