Daniel Caesar is a Canadian soul singer and songwriter who became known bask in the mid 2010s for his extremely successful debut album titled Freudian. He came to this world Ashton Simmons in 1995 in Toronto and was raised in the city of Oshawa where he received education in good private schools. He started to sing in a local church choir and as a teenager would listen to plenty of great music including gospels, R&B, soul, pop, etc. He left his parents' home at the age of 17 and decided to pursue a career in music so he moved to Toronto to do so. In 2014 his first EP came out, followed immediately by the second one. His debut studio album was released in 2017 and had some really great songs like "Best Part" (won a Grammy Award), "Get You", and such. The album turned out to be a sensation and received 3 Grammy award nominations. His two more albums were released in 2019 and 2023 respectively. One of his most significant collaborations so far has been the one with Justin Bieber and another R&B singer Giveon, the song "Peaches". Daniel Caesar has a number of other musical awards including MTV Video Music Award that he won in 2021.
