Ellie Goulding is a British singer, songwriter, and musician. She was born in 1986 in Herefordshire and grew up in a crowded family in the typical British countryside. She started learning to play musical instruments when she was 9 and began composing her songs when she was 15. After finishing school she entered the University of Kent, where she studied acting and drama. Ellie started her professional career in the late 2000s by recording her debut single "Under the Sheets" and her first EP.
