Born in South Africa, Elon Musk is an American businessman and innovator who became popular as the creator and manager of PayPal online payment system, as well as the founder of a few large research and business organizations working on the fields of space exploration and alternative energy. Computer programming has been Elon's interest since his middle school times, and after studying at Queen's University in Ontario, he moved to the US, where he received academic degrees in physics and economy. He started his business career in the late 1990s by establishing some software developing companies X.com, Zip2 and PayPal. By selling these companies, Musk earned some good funds to invest in such companies as alternative energy researcher Tesla Inc., aerospace transportation developer SpaceX, solar panel manufacturer Solar City, etc. His recent projects include a number of organizations that research on neurotechnology and artificial intelligence, with Neuralink and OpenAl being the largest of those. Elon Musk is particularly interested in Mars explorations; also, he sees possible a very serious danger in future caused by fast artificial intelligence development.
