Fakemink is a rising star in rap and music production who has already managed to gain attention as one of the most promising figures of today's underground hip hop scene. Born Vincenzo Camille in 2005 in Essex, he grew up in London and developed a strong interest in music, especially hip hop. As a young teenager, he loved to experiment with digital music production using software such as FL Studio. Naturally, he began writing and recording his own rap songs, thinking seriously about a career in this field. His first compositions came out under the online name 9090gate before he adopted the stage name Fakemink.
He became more well-known and successful in the middle of the 2020s after releasing his first album titled London's Saviour in 2023. This was followed by a string of singles, such as "Givenchy," "MAKKA," and the viral hit "Easter Pink".
