Forrest Frank is an American rock and gospel singer and songwriter also known as a part of a duo Surfaces. He was born in 1995 in Texas and raised in the city of Fulshear. He is a grandson of a meteorologist and hurricane forecasting specialist Neil Frank. Forrest attended Houston Christian High School and then studied business at Baylor University. Upon graduation in 2017 he was already a part of Surfaces together with its other part, another student from Texas Colin Padalecki. Their music is a very interesting mixture of rock, jazz, pop, country, and other styles. Their first studio album came out in the late 2017, and next year Frank released his debut solo album followed by one more album by Surfaces in 2019. The beginning of the next decade became extremely fruitful for Frank as they recorded and released an album every year with Padalecki, and in 2023 he released 4 solo albums including New Hymns which was recorded at his private studio and had new modern interpretations and versions of a number of traditional Christian hymns. In the middle of the decade two more albums with hymns and Christian songs came out. Forrest Frank is a multi instrumentalist and plays guitar, ukulele, and piano. He is married and as a son.
