A German musician and bassist, Georg Listing is known as a founding member of the internationally successful pop-rock band Tokio Hotel. He was born in 1987 in Germany, and started to learn to play musical instruments at the age of 6. Before achieving fame, he studied at a music school where he learned bass guitar, keyboard, and music theory. In the early 2000s, he teamed up with brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz and drummer Gustav Schäfer to form the group Devilish, which later became Tokio Hotel.
