Ice Cube is a famous American rapper, writer, producer, and actor. He was born O'Shea Jackson in 1969 in California and grew up in Baldwin Hills. He started getting seriously interested in hip hop when he was in high school and recorded his first song when he was 15 years old. The same year he became a member of C.I.A. group and just a year later he joined another hip hop group N.W.A. which became one of the most memorable representatives of what is called Gangsta Rap. Ice Cube is remembered as a songwriter and the lead singer of that band. In the late 1980s, he left the band and started his solo career. Since the beginning of the 1990s, he has released 10 studio albums and took part in a large number of collaborations including the ones with Eminem, Snoop Lion, Tupac Shakur, Xzibit, Mark 10, Kausion, Lil Jon, and so on. He also tried himself in acting by taking part in various cinema projects like Barbershop, Are We There Yet?, Ride Along, Boyz n the Hood, The Rebels, and others. He appeared in numerous advertisements, has his own clothing line, and is a big fan of basketball. Ice Cube is married and has 4 children.
