South Korean pop singer IU has already worked with many producers and in many musical or acting projects. She was born Lee Ji Eun in 1993 in Seoul, she initially started to display sheer interest in acting, and then joined LOEN Entertainment company as a trainee. In 2008 her first EP came out and she debuted as a teenage singer and songwriter quite successfully. Her first solo album titled Growing Up was released and helped IU to attract major public attention. In the early 2010s she released three more studio albums and found her place among the first wave of K-pop singers. Later in the decade she made up her mind to dedicate her time to joining some acting and television projects like Hotel De Luna, My Mister, and others. The year of 2020 became a milestone for IU as she released one of her best singles so far named "Eight" which is a collaboration with Min Yoongi.
