Kelly Rowland is a singer and an actress who rose to fame back in the 1990s as one of the members of a cult group Destiny's Child. Born Kelendria Trene Rowland in 1981 in Atlanta, she spent her early childhood there, alongside her parents and her brother. However, in the late 1980s her parents divorced and she moved with her mum to Houston where she later on met Beyonce Knowles and co-founded Destiny's Child. The group became popular in the late 1990s and released a few studio albums before the mid 2000 when it was disbanded. Her collaboration with David Guetta on the song "When Love Takes Over" opened new horizons and had great influence on Rowland's musical style.
