A Korean-American songwriter, singer, and music producer, Kim Eun-jae, professionally known as EJAE, is one of those whose work has shaped modern K-pop and international soundtracks. She was born in 1991 in Seoul to a family with a deep artistic background; her grandfather was the legendary actor Shin Young-kyun. She had been passionate about music since childhood, joining SM Entertainment's trainee system at the age of 11 and spending a decade perfecting her skills before transitioning into songwriting and production.

EJAE’s breakthrough came as a co-writer on Red Velvet’s hit "Psycho", which was met with widespread acclaim and helped cement her reputation within the industry. She’s since written and produced songs for major K-pop acts like TWICE, aespa, LE SSERAFIM and NMIXX. In 2025 she achieved international recognition by providing the singing voice for Rumi and co-writing key tracks including the hit single "Golden" on the Netflix animated film KPop Demon Hunters.
