Kit Harington is a British actor and producer famous for his role in Game of Thrones. Christopher Catesby Harington was born in 1986 in London and his mum is a screenplay writer. Kit was not interested in acting until watching a play of Samuel Beckett at the age of 14. He started taking part in the performances of his school theater and joined Worcester College to study Theater and Drama. In 2008, Kit also graduated from Central School of Speech and Drama and started acting in National Theater, with the most successful role in War Horse play. In 2011 he auditioned for a role in Game of Thrones and was offered to portray a character of Jon Snow. He also appeared in TV series Gunpowder, as well as in the movies Pompeii, a successful horror movie Silent Hill, Testament of Youth, Seventh Son (with Jeff Bridges), Brimstone, etc. Kit Harington is married to Rose Leslie, his co-star in Game of Thrones. He very often joins numerous charity-related projects, alongside other famous British actors.
