Known as one of the members of One Direction boy band, Louis Tomlinson (born Louis Troy Austin) is a British singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born in Doncaster and took the surname of his stepfather, after the divorce of his parents. His career began with him appearing in a few TV projects, including Waterloo Road produced by BBC. In 2013 he was auditioned for British The X Factor show and, after elimination as a solo singer, Louis became a member of One Direction band along with Harry Styles, John Payne, and Niall Horan. His contribution to the band was not only singing and performing on stage but also writing songs, mainly together with his bandmates.
