Metro Boomin is a music producer and a former bass player who started as a musician and then continued as a successful producer. He was born Leland Wayne in St Louis and spent his childhood is Missouri and Georgia with his close and extended family. He has got a sister and a brother. As a teenager, he learned to play bass guitar and became a member of a band in his home city. However later on he got focused on creating some beats and contributing into recording some hip hop hits. As a producer, he started working with young stars like OJ Da Juiceman. Later on he worked with a range of really famous hip hop stars like Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, Future, etc. In the late 2010s he started released his collaborative songs, as well as a few solo albums. The one titled Double or Nothing recorded together with Big Sean is considered to be the best album of Metro Boomin.
