Real Boston Richey is an American rapper whose confident delivery and unique style helped him to earn his place in the hip-hop scene. Born Jalen Taheen Foster in 1997, he grew up in Florida and developed an early interest in rap and performance at a young age. Encouraged by his family and friends who recognized his talent quite fast, he made up his mind to pursue music more seriously and began recording his own tracks, gradually building his local fanbase.
In early 2022, his debut singles “Bullseye” and “Keep Dissing” came out and were received with great enthusiasm of both rap listeners and industry figures. Later that year, Richey signed with Freebandz, the label founded by Future, and the rap star himself contributed to the production of the collaboration song “Bullseye 2.” RBR also worked with Lil Durk on “Keep Dissing 2,” which managed to gain millions of hits across platforms. In the mid 2020s, Real Boston Richey released projects featuring songs like “Krazy,” “My Image,” “On Site,” and “Help Me,” while his mixtape Public Housing reached the top 60 on the Billboard charts.
