Tinashe Kachingwe is a young R&B singer, musician, songwriter, and actress, known as simply Tinashe. Born in 1993 in Kentucky, she grew up in a family of college professors, and her father was also an amateur teacher of acting. For sure, he showed great support to his daughter's love of dancing, ballet, and acting. In 2001 the family moved to LA where Tinashe finished school and made up her mind to become a musician. In 2007 she was discovered by local scouts and became a member of newly formed girl band "The Stunners".

Together with the band, Tinashe released its famous single "Bubblegum" and an eponymous album. In early 2010, after the band had split up, Tinashe released a few mixtapes followed by her first studio album Aquarius, with a few great songs such as "2 On" and "Pretend". The release was supported by a large tour. The following two studio albums enjoyed a great reception and made Tinashe a successful R&B singer.
