Keith Lionel Urban is a famous Australian country singer known also as the husband of a cinema star Nicole Kidman. He was born in 1967 in New Zealand but was brought up in Australia by his parents and siblings. Country music has been his love since the very early age, and as a child he was glad to learn to play the guitar influenced by Mark Knopfler and other legendary guitarists. When Keith was 16, he joined his first auditions for a TV show New Faces which turned out to be a good start for the young singer. Later on he continued as a member of various bands, and in the early 1990s he move to the US right after his debut studio album was released in Australia. In the 1990s he signed with Capitol records and released two albums as well as played with the band called The Ranch. The 2000s became a very successful decade for Urban and his album titled Golden Road even was named The Country Album of the Decade.
