Offset is an American rapper, musician, and songwriter best known as a member of the hip hop trio Migos. His real name is Kiari Cephus, and he was born in 1991 in Georgia. He grew up in a family where music played an important role, and both Takeoff and Quavo, the other members of Migos, are his distant relatives.

Offset began his professional music career in 2008 when the group was formed. The trio gained major attention in 2013 after releasing their viral hit Versace, produced by Zaytoven. In 2015, Migos released their debut studio album Yung Rich Nation, followed by massive success with the hit single Bad and Boujee, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
