He started his career in 1996 by releasing his first single "Baby Girl", which became very popular in Jamaica. In 1997 he came to the US and met such musicians as Big Dady Kane, Aaliyah, Snoop Dogg, which made a great impact on the young singer. The first solo album of Sean Paul was released in 2000 and followed by a large number of live performances and concerts.
