Sky Ferreira is a model, singer, and songwriter. Born Sky Tonia Ferreira in 1992 in California, she was raised in a creative environment — her grandmother was Michael Jackson’s hairstylist and part of his professional team. Growing up surrounded by stories about Jackson and having seen him many times, Sky developed a strong love for music and the arts, which was fully supported by her family.

Like many of her peers, Sky enjoyed social media and began promoting her music through Myspace. At 17, she signed with a recording label, and two years later released her first EP, As If.
