Axl Rose is an iconic singer and frontman of Guns N'Roses, as well as a musician, songwriter, and a producer. Born William Bruce Rose in 1962 in Indiana, he was raised in the city of Lafayette by his mum and his stepfather, alongside his sister and a step-brother. His parents used to be really tough to him when he was a child, so music was the only window to the light. In the early 1980s Will moved to LA and decided to form a band which received a name AXL which was later on adopted by him as his stage name. In 1985 together with his friends he co-founded Guns N'Roses which became a really great band of the 1990s and 2000s. Their fist album released in the late 1980s enjoyed great success and the band has recorded 5 more albums with amazing songs like "Don't You Cry Tonight", "November Rain", "Knockin' On Heavens Door", "Sweet Child Of Mine", etc. Guns N'Roses were mainly famous in the two first decades for their numerous tours and amazing stage performances. In the 2010s the activities of the band slowed down and Axl started collaborating with other musicians and bands like AC/DC, etc. In the late 2010s a few live concerts of Guns N'Roses took place, but mainly as for the moment the band is inactive. Axl Rose was married once but never had children (there have been lately some rumors that he had a little daughter). He is an active social media user and a participant of various social or political events.
