How old is Bill Nye?

A comedian, TV presenter, and science educator, Bill Nye, famously known as “The Science Guy,” is celebrated for making learning fun and accessible. He was born in 1955 in Washington, D.C., where he spent his childhood and developed a love for science from an early age. After earning a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, he worked at Boeing Corporation, where he contributed to a small invention that continues to be used in Boeing planes.

Nye started volunteering to promote science in the early 1980s and joined the writing team for the comedy show Almost Live! in 1986. He made segments turning scientific experiments into entertaining demonstrations, inspired by Donald Herbert.
