James Thomas 'Jimmy' Fallon, Jr. is a popular American TV host, actor, comedian, producer, and writer. He was born in 1974 in New York, to a family of a soldier. Since his childhood, Jimmy has been a huge fan of Saturday Night Live TV show and was following all the episodes of the program very carefully. He was very successful in imitating various actors and celebrities, as well as in declamation and music (he learned to play the guitar). In college, he studied computer science but ended up receiving a diploma in communication, and since his student's ages, he started joining various comedy clubs and groups (Caroline Comedy Show, Improv and others) where he was polishing his arts of impressions and doing stand-up comedy shows. Together with those groups, he started touring around the state and around the region, with small stand-up shows and comedy performances. 

He took some acting classes with his colleagues from Groundlings, and appeared in a few movies like The Scheme or The Father's Day. Finally, in 1998, he received an invitation to take part in his favorite show Saturday Night Live. He was making impressions of such famous actors as Adam Sandler, French Stewart, Jerry Seinfeld, etc. He used to make a lot of musical pieces, and in 2000 he started hosting a part of the show. In 2002 he released a comedy album, The Bathroom Ball, which was very successful and gained plenty of popularity. Since 2009 he was the host of his own TV show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the name of which was changed in 2014 to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The show has been keeping the highest ratings and is one of the most watched shows at NBC. Jimmy Fallon is a devoted supporter of the Democrats and is interested in politics. He is married to Nancy Juvonen, and the couple has 2 daughters.
