Post Malone (born Austin Richard Post) is a charismatic American singer, rapper, and songwriter known for his distinctive style and unforgettable appearance. Born in 1995 in Syracuse, New York, he spent most of his childhood in Grapevine, Texas, where he developed an early interest in hip-hop, rap, and country music.

His first passion was the guitar, and he was a huge fan of the video game Guitar Hero. Basketball became his second passion, and his stage name “Post Malone” was inspired by the surname of NBA star Karl Malone from the Utah Jazz.

During high school, Post Malone played guitar in a local hard rock band and began experimenting with music production using FL Studio.
