Stevie Wonder (Stevland Hardaway Judkins) is a famous and very prolific American musician and songwriter, whose influence on the development of soul music of the XXth century is impossible to underestimate. He was born in 1950 in Michigan, Stevie was blind since his first days of coming to this world. However, he did everything possible to learn to live this life to the fullest and was particularly interested in music, taking Ray Charles (who was also blind) as his idol. Stevie had managed to achieve great success in playing piano and singing by the age of 11 when he signed up his first professional contract. His first commercial success came to him with his albums recorded in the early 1970s, when such hits as "Superstition" or "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" were released. He worked closely with such musicians as Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Elton John, etc. For his long career, Wonder received 25 Grammy Awards, which places him among the most awarded musicians of all times. He also has a large number of other awards and recognition for his social and charity-related activities, in particular, fighting for the rights of Black people around the world. Stevie Wonder was married three times and has 9 children.
