TEMS is a singer and songwriter known for her interesting and unique style. Born Temilde Openiyi in 1995 in Nigeria, she spent her early childhood in the UK since her father is British. However, when she was 5, her parents divorced and together with her mum and brother Temi went back to Nigeria where she finished high school and made her first steps in the world of music. In the mid 2010s she decided to promote her music and opened her YouTube channel where it was possible to see her first most popular singles "Try Me" and "Mr Rebel". In 2020 she released her most known single so far titled "Essence". It brought her a Grammy nomination and attention of a lot of first class stars including Justin Bieber and Drake. With the latter she recorded a collaborative single named "Fountains" followed by her first EP For Broken Ears and the second one named If Orange Was A Place. She received a lot of titles as one of the most promising singers of the early 2020 and a few awards like BET Awards. In the mid 2022 TEMS recorded a new very successful single titled "Wait For U" in collaboration with Future and Drake.
