A number of cinema movies have been filmed in Hollywood based on the books of Rowling. She is known as one of the richest authors of modern times, but she is also known as the one who spends a large share of her incomes on charity. In particular, she supports various health care organizations, as well as her own charity organizations. J.K. Rowling is a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and has a large number of other awards as an author and a social activist.
