How old is Stephen King?

Stephen King is one of the world’s most famous and prolific novelists, known for his masterful works in horror, fantasy, and science fiction. He was born in 1947 in Maine, where he was raised by his single mother alongside his older brother. King’s childhood was marked by financial struggles and emotional challenges, which later influenced his dark and imaginative storytelling style.

He studied English at the University of Maine and earned a bachelor’s degree in Arts. His first short story was published in 1967, marking the beginning of his professional writing career. In 1973, he achieved his first major success with the novel Carrie, which instantly established him as a powerful new voice in literature.
