How old is Jair Bolsonaro?

Jair Bolsonaro is a Brazilian politician and the 38th President of the country. He was born in 1955 in a small neighborhood of Sao Paolo and his family was of Italian and German ancestry. Bolsonaro graduated from Military Academy and continued serving the country's military till the mid-1980s when he started active social activities as a newspaper column writer and a critic for some governmental structures. A few times he was detained and arrested for his aggressive and too liberal viewpoints but in the late 1980s, he decided to retire from the military and join the Christian Democratic Party of Brazil. In 1990 he was elected to the lower chamber of Brazilian Congress where he demonstrated himself as a devoted conservative speaking against affirmative action, same-sex marriages, liberalization of marijuana and soft drug use, and so on. He was elected a few times and became one of the leaders of the Christian Party. However, closer to the end of the 2010s Bolsonaro started showing the signs of strong liberalization gaining the reputation of a controversial politician. In 2018 he announced his intentions to run as a candidate for Presidency and became a member of the Social Liberal Party. At the end of the year, he was elected President with 55% vote and stepped into his office in January 2019. Jair Bolsonaro was married three times and has 5 children.
