Kevin James is a popular American comedian and actor known for his roles both in TV series and movies. Born Kevin George Knipfing in 1965 in New York, he spent his childhood alongside his parents, his brother and his sister. As a young teenager, he was interested in wrestling and dreamed about competing professionally. His first success as a professional wrestler was followed by an injury, so the young man had to focus on some other field. In the late 1980s, Kevin tried himself as a stand up comedian and very soon he began appearing on TV in the shows of such superstars like Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, David Letterman, and others. The late 1990s became his time for becoming a real TV star by appearing in such TV series as Everybody Loves Raymond and The King of Queens, the latter is definitely among the best works of James so far. In the early 2000s he began taking part in shooting movies, mainly comedy and drama, like Hitch (with Eva Mendez), Chuck And Larry and Grown Ups (alongside Adam Sandler), Zoolander (alongside Ben Stiller), Paul Blart movie series, as well as giving his voice to some animated movie characters like Hotel Transylvania, etc. In the late 2010s Kevin James appeared in such popular TV series as Kevin Can Wait and The Crew where he played the main role.
