Kygo (Kyrre Gørvell-Dahl) is a DJ, songwriter, and music producer of Norwegian origin. He was born in 1991 in Singapore and spent his childhood living with his family in various countries like Brazil, Egypt, Japan, and so on. In his childhood, he started learning playing piano and experimenting with online music editing. He began seriously getting interested in creating music when he was a student of the university in Edinburgh, Scotland. Kygo released his first single in 2013, and it became quite popular for the debut one. In his early times, he collaborated and became friends with Avicii, the late Swedish DJ, whom Kygo considers to be his main inspiration.
