Rowan Atkinson is a famous British comedy actor, screenwriter, and performer best known for creating and portraying the character Mr. Bean. He was born in 1955 in Consett, County Durham, and grew up in an Anglican family alongside his two brothers. He later studied Electrical Engineering at Oxford, where he became actively involved in comedy and began writing and performing sketches.

Atkinson first gained major recognition through the radio show The Atkinson People and the BBC television series Not the Nine O’Clock News, which earned him a BAFTA Award. In 1982 he appeared in "Never Say Never Again" alongside Sean Connery, follow by a great lead role in the movie Dead on Time.
