Simone Ashley is an actress who has recently rose to fame for her great performance in a cult TV Series of NETFLIX Sex Education. She was born Simone Ashwini Pillai in 1995 in the UK, to the family of Indian origins, and grew up alongside her parents and her brother. She is of Thamil and Sri Lankan origins. As a child, Ashley loved music, especially classical music, and learned to play piano. After finishing school she attended Arts Educational School in London and in 2016 she started her career by appearing in a few TV series like Wolfblood and Broadchurch. She continued by taking part in shooting a few short films, and in 2019 she was invited to join the cast of Sex Education, alongside Asa Butterfield. In the early 2022, Simone Ashley worked on filming one more TV series Bridgerstone.
