A young Canadian professional hockey player, Macklin Celebrini became one of the NHL's top young stars after being selected first overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2024 NHL Draft. He was born in 2006 in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and became one of hockey's top prospects, playing for the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League. During the 2022-23 season, he became only the second player in league history to win Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Forward of the Year in the same season.
